| Jeremiah April, 1999 – September 9, 2000 |
|

Jeremiah was found as a kitten with a huge swelling behind his eye (thus his nickname, Pop-eye). He went to many veterinarians, in an effort to determine the cause of such a swelling. He was finally diagnosed with eosinophilic granuloma dermatitis complex. Despite exhaustive food trials, injections and treatment with steroids, sweet little Jeremiah was suffering. On his last visit to the vet, the tissue in his face was found to be totally destroyed and nothing further could be done to ease his pain. He was quietly put to sleep. Now Jeremiah lives with the angels, where I know they shower him with affection and tenderness. He was well loved by many people, and holds a special place in a lot of hearts, so I know he is a special little man up in Heaven. |

| Tipple ?? – July 5, 2000 |
|

Tipple was a beautiful stray cat found by my co-worker on the freeway. He brought her to work, and there she stayed until the day she had a skirmish with a fishing lure in the office of the dockmaster. I rushed her to the vet, and afterwards she came home to live at my house. Tipple taught me the art of "head-butting"; before her I had no idea that cats showed their affection this way. Tipple lived outside because she was terrified of being cooped up indoors. She was somewhat allusive, but late at night when I came home she would greet me with a meow and her wonderful head butts. I will always love you, Tipple-Girl! |

| Pooker April, 1989 – July 5, 2000 |
|

I got Pooker as a feral kitten by trapping him in a wooden box, along with his sister and brother. As a kitten, he was affectionately known as Pookie, with his big scared eyes and shy demeanor. As he grew up, it was obvious that he was too big to be a "Pookie", so we called him Pooker. And as he grew older and more staid, his name changed once again to Mr. Pook. He was a gentle cat and always got along well with others. I truly regret that he was an outdoor cat because it is just too dangerous outside, and he would be alive today if he had been living indoors.Pookie, I miss you. I look forward to the day when we are all reunited again. |

| Rock 1992 – January 11, 2003 |
|
![]() |
Rock was brought to me with her twin sister (Roll) when she was just 7 days
old. She always wore a red collar to distinguish her from her sister. Rock
spent 11 happy years in our home. She was our kitchen cat and besides joining
us for many meals, she knew many tricks. She would stand on her hind legs
and beg for anyone that would stop and talk to her. She was very affectionate. |
