Before sedation, our veterinary team will perform a basic health assessment of your cat, including body condition, eyes, and ears; however, not all cats are friendly enough to safely complete a hands-on examination. If we identify any concerns prior to surgery, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.

Please inform us of any previous illnesses, medical conditions, medications, vaccinations, or treatments your cat has received before the day of surgery, as it is important that we are aware of any pre-existing conditions. If ear mites are visible during the examination, our team will provide treatment recommendations at discharge.
